About
Chesapeake Indoor Percussion is the first operating arm of the Chesapeake Area Marching Programs (C.A.M.P) which is a 501(c)(3) pending non-profit organization with the goal of educating youth in the Marching and Performing Arts through competitive performance.
In 2010, C.A.M.P. established Chesapeake Percussion, a competitive Indoor Percussion Ensemble which competes regionally in the Tournament Indoor Association's (TIA) Chapter 5, as well as Winter Guard International's (WGI) Mullica Hill Regional. Awards received included:
TIA Atlantic Coast Independent A Class Bronze Medalist
TIA Chapter 5 Champions
WGI Mullica Hill Regional PIA 1st Place
The ongoing goal of this group is to reach the international performance stage by competing in WGI World Finals competition, while providing a fulfilling educational, fun experience for all involved.
Through this ensemble Chesapeake will promote and instill teamwork, commitment to excellence, and professionalism in its' students. By crossing gender, racial, social and generational lines, we will create unique family experiences for all of our members.
Through participation in performing arts ensembles, young people develop pride, character and self confidence while becoming instilled with a desire to succeed at every level of life.
